REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

These can be requested only when they have been authorised by the doctor. Requests should be made using the re-order slip which will be enclosed with your prescription. Please make sure your request arrives at the surgery at least three days before you require it, as there may be items which need to be ordered. If you request an item which is not on your repeat prescription, this will have to be authorised by a doctor and will take longer than any regular prescription item. You may also need to see a doctor in order to get the prescription. Almost all medications issued on repeat prescriptions will require you to see the doctor for review at least once a year.
