Some conditions, for example diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney problems, chest problems and others, require regular review and monitoring to ensure that you are receiving the correct treatment and maintaining the best of your heath. We run a recall system so that everyone concerned is invited to take part. You will receive a letter or a phone call inviting you to make an appointment for review. Please tell the receptionist that you have had an invite to attend. When you make the appointment please also tell the receptionist if you have recently had an appointment, where blood tests may already have been taken.
There are many visiting staff providing services at the health centre:- Occupational Therapy, NHS Chiropody, Addiction Counselling for Alcohol and Drugs, Cardiac Nurse Specialist, Speech and Language Therapy, Optician and Macmillan Nurse. Retinal Screening staff visit annually to review diabetic patients.
If you wish to make use of any of these services please ask the Doctor or enquire at reception.
