Zero Tolerance

Violent or abusive behaviour directed towards any staff member, patient or visitor at the health centre will not be tolerated. The person concerned will be asked to improve his or her behaviour and may be asked to leave the premises. Depending on the circumstances, the police may be called. Patients behaving like this will be removed from the practice list for routine care but would still receive care in an emergency. NHS Highland would make arrangements for ongoing routine care elsewhere.
